هيئة تحرير الشام

هيئة تحرير الشام هي تشكيل عسكري مشارك في الحرب الأهلية السورية، أسسته عدة فصائل عسكرية منتشرة في شمال سوريا وهي جبهة فتح الشام (جبهة النصرة)، وحركة نور الدين الزنكي، ولواء الحق، وجبهة أنصار الدين، وجيش السنة. وذلك إثر إنعقاد مؤتمر أستانا، ويترأس هيئة تحرير الشام القائد العام السابق لحركة أحرار الشام الإسلامية هاشم الشيخ المكنى بأبو جابر .[22][23]

«فنظرًا لما تمر به الثورة السورية اليوم من مؤامرات تعصف بها واحتراب داخلي يهدد وجودها، وحرصًا منا على جمع الكلمة ورصّ الصف، فنحن الفصائل الموقعة أدناه, نعلن عن حل كل من الفصائل التالية واندماجها اندماجًا كاملًا ضمن كيان جديد تحت مسمى "هيئة تحرير الشام" بقيادة المهندس أبو جابر هاشم الشيخ.»

The relationship between HTS and Ahrar al-Sham is complex, while there is some enmity, both groups are not at war, according to a leading scholar in Tahrir al-Sham, the groups do not particularly hate one another in the political or social battlefield. Certain members, however, do believe that a war between the two would be feasible due to Ahrar al-Sham attending the Astana talks, labeling it as a "moderate" faction, often seen as blasphemy within groups such as Tahrir al-Sham.[132]

في 5 مارس 2020، توصل الرئيسان الروسي ڤلاديمير پوتن والتركي رجب طيب أردوغان إلى بروتوكول إضافي لمذكرة إحلال الاستقرار في منطقة إدلب لخفض التوتر، الموقعة في 17 سبتمبر 2018. لوقف إطلاق النار في محافظة إدلب، يتضمن وقف الاقتتال في إدلب، ومقاتلة جميع أشكال الارهاب وتصفية كل الجماعات الإرهابية في سوريا التي صنفها مجلس الأمن الدولي.

في 8 مارس، أعلنت هيئة تحرير الشام رفضها وقف إطلاق النار الذي تم التوصل إليه في موسكو، بين الرئيس الروسي ودعت مقاتليها للاستمرار في القتال ضد الحكومة السورية والقوات الروسية.[135]
