ملكية أستراليا تتعلق بشكل الحكومة التي يعمل بها الملكية الوراثية أو ملكة السيادة و رئيس الدولة. تخضع أستراليا لحكم ملكية دستورية ، إلى حد كبير على نظام وستمنستر الحكومة البرلمانية ، مع دمج ميزات فريدة لـ دستور أستراليا. العاهل الحالي هو إليزابيث الثانية ، "ملكة أستراليا" ،^[1] منذ 6 فبراير 1952. وتمثل في أستراليا الحاكم العام ,وفقاً للدستور الأسترالي و رسائل براءات الاختراع من الملكة ،^[2]^[3]^[4] وفي كل ولاية أسترالية ، وفقًا لدساتير الولايات ، بواسطة الحاكم ، بمساعدة نائب حاكم. يعين الملك الحاكم العام والمحافظين ، بناءً على مشورة حكومة الكومنولث وكل حكومة ولاية على التوالي. هذه هي تقريبا الوظائف الدستورية الوحيدة للملك فيما يتعلق بأستراليا.^[5]
