نطاق سوان

نطاق سوان Swan band مصطلح فلكي يشير إلى نطاق أطياف النجوم الكربونية والمذنبات وحرق الوقود هيدروكربوني ^[1]^[2] , سميت بذلك نسبة للفيزيائي وليام سوان الذي درس التحليل الطيفي لكربون C₂ عام 1856 ^[3]

طيف اللهب الأزرق من شعلة البوتان تبين انبعاث حزمة جذرية جزيئية مثارة ونطاقات سوان.
