لويس أونترماير

لويس أونترماير Louis Untermeyer ‏(1 أكتوبر 1885 - 18 ديسمبر 1977) شاعر أمريكي، جمع الشعر الأمريكي واشتهر بكتاب “الشعر الأمريكي الحديث” (1919)، و”الشعر البريطاني الحديث” (1920)، وبكتاب “العالم الطروب” 1913 الذي كتبه للأطفال. اشتهر بترجمة قصائد هايني وكتابة سيرة له ظهرت 1937. وظهرت له “خادم الله وقصص أخرى” (1932)، وكتب عديدة في النقد الأدبي. كتب ترجمة ذاتية بعنوان “من عالم آخر” 1939، زوجته الأولى جين ستار أونترماير (1886ـ ) لها دواوين شعرية منها “الحب والحاجة” 1940.
